Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to common gel blaster questions

Getting Started

We recommend using high-quality 7-8mm gel balls for optimal performance.

Most gel balls need 3-4 hours of soaking in clean water.

Most gel blasters use 7.4V or 11.1V LiPo batteries.

Troubleshooting

Common causes include a dead battery, empty magazine, jammed barrel, or loose motor connections.

Gel balls can break from over-hydration, old age, or improper storage.

Remove the magazine, clear any stuck gel balls, and ensure the feeding mechanism is clean.

Maintenance

Clean your blaster after every use.

Store hydrated gel balls in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.

Never fully discharge your LiPo battery. Store at storage voltage.

Upgrades & Performance

Start with: 1) Tight bore barrel (7.1mm) for accuracy. 2) Metal gearbox for durability. 3) Better hop-up rubber for range. These three upgrades give the biggest performance boost per dollar.

FPS limits vary by state. In Queensland, gel blasters are legal but most fields limit to 300 FPS. Exceeding legal limits can classify your blaster as a firearm. Always check local regulations.

Most M4, AK, SCAR, and similar models share V2 gearbox internals (gears, springs, pistons, nozzles). Always verify compatibility with your specific model before purchasing.
