Upcoming Gel Blaster Events Aus

So, you’ve purchased a gel blaster and spent time training your aim. Now it’s time for a competitive game.

Gel blasting in Australia has never been more popular, and it is only set to get bigger over the coming years. While casual games against your friends are fun, there’s something extra special about attending a dedicated gel blaster event. Whether you’re a sniper or rifle user, the growing gel blaster community is blessed with events for players of all abilities.

Why Gel Blast Events?

Gel blasting is a great hobby, and a lot of people are happy to practise shooting targets. However, there is undoubtedly something special about seeing your gel ball splatter on an opponent. If you’re looking to truly unlock the full potential of your gel blaster, attending an event is the best solution by far.

Events range from one-off public days to competitive leagues. Whether looking for indoor or outdoor gel ball adventures, there has never been a better time to immerse yourself in the community. It’s fun, engaging, active, and a great way to improve your responses. And by attending events, you’ll get to enjoy a variety of playing venues and try different tactics.

Here are some of the most exciting upcoming gel blaster events in Australia.

Beerwah Urban Gelsoft Games (September 24th)

Held at Beerwah State High School, the Beerwah Urban Gelsoft Games event kicks off at 3 p.m. with S&Bs while Advanced Games will offer three hours of intense excitement battles from 4 p.m. With prices starting at $30, the urban battlefield is sure to attract players from across Queensland.

Competitors are invited to bring their own gel blaster, tracer unit, speed loader, and gels. However, equipment and accessories will be available to purchase or hire on the day. For players that can’t make this event, organisers Adrenaline Games Qld run several other gel blaster events throughout the year.

Twin Waters Public Event (October 7th)

Corporate & Group Experiences specialises in both paintballing and gel blasting events for team building exercises, but also hosts multiple public events during the year. The October 7th event at Twin Waters (270 Ocean Dr, QLD 4564) is open to kids, teens, and adults for casual yet competitive play.

Entry to the event is priced at $25 for competitors with their own equipment, although players can hire pressure air gel blasters if they do not have their own. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Given that the company boasts vast experience of delivering fantastic events, frantic fun is guaranteed.

Nuketown Urban Warfare (December 3rd)

Organised by Nuketown GC Gel Ball Field, December’s Nuketown Urban Warfare event will see the grounds of Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum transform into the ultimate gel blasting arena for a full day of fun but competitive play that’s open to individual players and teams alike.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is particularly welcoming for new players. The event will also run several games for children in addition to those for adults. All-day passes start at $30 for children and $40 for adults. Tickets are already available to buy online and are already selling fast.

Ultimate SpeedBrawl (Tuesdays)

Ultimate SpeedBrawl is a weekly five-on-five event held at Gelsoft Australia (72 Link Drive Yatala, QLD 4207). While you will need a full team to play, the $125 price is great value. The fast-paced battles see your team take on another group for 40 minutes under speedbrawl rules. It is brutal but brilliant.

Four time slots (6 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:15 p.m.) are available each Tuesday. It is a firm favourite with serious players and competitive teams, although players must be aged 12+. So, grab your gel balls and hit one of Brisbane’s best venues. Competitive teamplay on the gel blasting field never looked better.

Hardcore Speedball (2024)

If you’re looking to take your gel blasting activities to the next level in 2024, Hardcore Speedball at Hardcore Blasters could be the perfect choice. Teams compete over nine weeks to see who will be crowned the champion. With only two seasons per year, it is the ultimate destination for players in North Ipswich.

All teams are guaranteed at least two games but the finalists play a total of 10 rounds. Matches are live-streamed, which is another cool feature while the chance to lift a trophy is incredible too. The $350 entry fee covers all six players in the team, making it a great choice for high-standard players who truly want an exhilarating experience.
