Three buyers. Same ghost.

Spend $600 on a "premium" toy blaster… and get S.F.A warranty

Dropped $600-700 on what they called a premium toy. Gearbox cracked at week 5. Retailer says "manufacturer covers warranty — email China". S.F.A from the actual seller.

I thought consumer law guaranteed 12 months? Apparently not here.

I thought there was an Aussie consumer law that 12 months had to be guaranteed on Aussie products. The whole industry seems to run on "people just accepting their statement". Shoddy workmanship and zero customer service.

Bought 8 months ago — "out of warranty" they said. WTF.

Bought it 8 months ago. Gel-blaster fails. They tell me it's "out of warranty (3 months)". Eight months and you're done? Why is there even an Aussie retailer for this stuff?

Your rights aren't our policy. They're the law.

Under the Australian Consumer Law, every product must be of acceptable quality, fit for the purpose advertised, and match its description. We don't bury those rights in fine print — we lead with them.

Acceptable quality — Manufactured well, durable for normal use, free of defects.
Fit for purpose — Performs the way it was advertised to perform.
Match description — What we said you'd get is what shows up at your door.

Straight answers

The bits people actually ask.

What's covered under the 12-month warranty?+

Manufacturing defects, gearbox failures, electrical faults, motor wear under normal use. Cosmetic wear and impact damage from drops aren't covered, but if it's a real build fault, we cover it for 12 months.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?+

No. If it's a warranty claim or return within the 45-day window, we cover postage both ways. Australia-wide.

What if I've upgraded my blaster?+

Reasonable user upgrades (springs, hop-ups, mags) don't void the warranty. Damage caused by the upgrade itself isn't covered — but the rest of the blaster still is.

How fast is support?+

Average reply under 4 hours during AEST business hours. Michael, our support lead, answers personally. You can call him directly — number on the contact page.

Are you really an Australian company?+

Yes. Gel Ball Undercover Pty Ltd, ABN registered, Gold Coast warehouse, Gold Coast team. Not a dropshipper or rebrand — we own the gear, the bench, and the warranty.

What does ACL Compliant actually mean?+

It means our written warranty meets and exceeds the Australian Consumer Law minimums (Schedule 2, Competition & Consumer Act 2010). You can lean on our T&Cs OR on the law — whichever gives you more protection.
